Slovenian soprano Laura Kmetič is based in Tenerife and specializes in historically informed performance of Renaissance and Baroque repertoire. She appears regularly with Numen Ensemble and Saüc Ensemble, and co-leads Calíope Sorore, a duo with laudist Liana Llauger dedicated to early music for voice and archlute.

Laura holds an MA in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance of Classical Music from the Gustav Mahler Privatuniversität für Musik and an MA in Historical Singing from ESMUC Barcelona, graduating with honours from all her studies. Her artistic work focuses on bringing early music to life for contemporary audiences, with occasional forays into classical music and sometimes even jazz and modern repertoire.
